General Meeting

General Meeting

The General Meeting is the main governing body of the association. It is convened at least once a year.

Its powers include:

  • approval of the accounts for the previous year and the budget for the coming year amendments to the Articles of Association
  • appointment and dismissal of members of the Board of Directors, the Auditor and the Controller of Accounts
  • discharge of the members of the Board of Directors, the Auditor and the Controller of Accounts for the past financial year
  • volontary dissolution of the Association
  • admissions and expulsions of members
  • change of registered office
  • decision to take court action. In such case the Meeting shall appoint the member or members empowered to carry out this task
  • decision on the amount of member’s annual contribution
  • approval of the annual report on the management of the Directors of the Board of Directors, the financial situation and activities of the Association
