About ECSDA

ECSDA represents 40 national and international central securities depositories (CSDs) across 36 European countries. The association provides a forum for European CSDs to exchange views and take forward projects of mutual interest. It aims to promote a constructive dialogue between the CSD community, European public authorities, and other stakeholders aiming at contributing to an efficient and risk-averse infrastructure for European financial markets.

Today, ECSDA has five major working streams and a Task Force, focused on:

  1. Risk management WG chaired by Pierre Paul Stacanov, Euroclear
  2. Policy WG, chaired by Chiara Rossetti, Euronext Securities
  3. Compliance WG chaired by Olivier Goffard, Euroclear
  4. Settlement WG chaired by Jesús Sánchez, SIX – Iberclear
  5. Harmonisation, particularly in the area of corporate actions and general meetings chaired by Alessio Mottola, Euronext Securities
  6. ISO Messaging Task Force chaired by Jean-Paul Lambotte, Euroclear
